Covid-19 Update

This week there are a handful of positive cases among students and teachers.

However, we continue to have large numbers of absences due to sickness.  It is very important in all these cases that families continue to test unwell children every 24-48 hours for as long as they have symptoms.  Do not assume that because their first test was negative or they have already had it before, that they cannot have Covid-19.  Your child should have a negative Rapid Antigen Test before their return to school.

Please call (04) 939 0186 or email office@rewarewa.school.nz – not your child’s teacher – as soon as your child becomes a Household Contact or tests positive.  We will help you manage this.

If your child is a household contact who subsequently tests positive, please let us know so that we can recalculate their return to school date.
